About

RJ’S Creative Journey’s is the creative home of writer, musician, photographer and filmmaker Rhonda Jesckey.

Creative expression is essential to Rhonda’s essence. Her work is frequently described as unique. Rhonda is constantly curious and attracted to spontaneous adventures, so the roads she’s travelled are many and varied. Happiest around children or when immersing herself in artistic endeavours, Rhonda operates from a social justice perspective and is working towards catalysing positive change and social good.

Rhonda graduated from SFU and worked as an elementary school music teacher for many years. She formally and informally studied writing and filmmaking, particularly documentary, at various institutions around Vancouver’s Lower Mainland.

Rhonda considers herself a cultural anthropologist of sorts by documenting and having media of places and people over time.
